The decision follows concerns raised by farmers over falling prices and their impact on livelihoods. The committee will assess the entire Totapuri mango value chain, including cultivation, processing, marketing, domestic trade, and exports, while identifying the factors responsible for the price decline. It will also conduct field visits, engage with farmers and other stakeholders, and evaluate production costs, market dynamics, and export performance.
