The new guidelines apply across the entire dairy supply chain\u2014from milk collection centres and dairies to transporters, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers\u2014and consolidate existing regulations into a single framework for uniform implementation. Violations such as milk adulteration, operating without valid licences or registrations, misleading advertisements, and false product claims could attract penalties of up to \u20b910 lakh, along with other regulatory action.
