The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued notices to Neuherbs, True Vitamin, and Folineuro Syrup over alleged misleading product claims and regulatory violations. The action follows observations that certain health and nutrition claims, product descriptions, and labelling practices may not comply with the Food Safety and Standards (Advertising and Claims) Regulations and other applicable food safety requirements. FSSAI has directed the concerned food business operators to review and rectify the identified non-compliances, ensuring that all product labels, promotional claims, and marketing communications accurately reflect the regulatory provisions. The regulator reiterated that misleading claims can influence consumer purchasing decisions and undermine confidence in the food safety system. It further stated that strict monitoring and enforcement action against misleading advertisements, inaccurate labelling, and regulatory violations will continue to safeguard consumer interests and promote transparency in the nutraceutical and health supplement sector.
