Five days after a food poisoning outbreak in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, 79 people remain under observation at IGM Hospital after consuming shawarma from a local eatery. A total of 124 patients were admitted, with 45 discharged after treatment. Hospital authorities confirmed that all patients are stable, while food samples have been sent for microbiological and chemical analysis to identify the cause.
